Era Mae Ashley Vestal

Jonesville – Era Mae Ashley Vestal, 93, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023.  She was born May 11, 1930 to the late Sanford Ashley and Rose Hutchens Ashley.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Troy Edward Vestal; children, Tony Vestal, Ricky Vestal, Debbie McGee, Belinda Vestal; grandson, Brock Vestal; and several brothers and sisters.  Surviving are her children, Steve (Karen) Vestal, Shonnie Williams; grandchildren, Shannon (Emily) Vestal, Colin Vestal, Rodney (Jennifer) Vestal, Craig Vestal, John Vestal, Kelly (Phillip) Newman, Tisha Vestal, Harley (Julie) Vestal, Anthony McGee, Matthew Williams; many special great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; sisters, Pat Swaim, Versie Mendenhall; and several nieces and nephews.  Her funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by the Rev. Jamie Wood.  Burial will follow at Fall Creek Baptist Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00PM on Tuesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville, which is serving the Vestal family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
