Yadkinville Mr. Ervin “Curley” William Lineberry, Jr., 61, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at his home. Mr. Lineberry was born July 3, 1957 in Forsyth County to the late Ervin and Lorene Smitherman Lineberry. He worked as a landscaper for many years alongside his wife Joy. They spent 2 ½ years building their own home from the ground up. Mr. Lineberry enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. Mr. Lineberry is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Joy Dinkins Lineberry; two sisters, Shirley Hill and Shelby Wiedenhoft.; two brothers-in-law, John “Wayne” Dinkins and James “JD” Dinkins; three sisters-in-law, Joan D. Boyles (Jim), Jeanette Dinkins, and Janice D. Frye (Larry); and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 2:00 to 3:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00PM, following the visitation in Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice, PO Box 1267 Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Johnny Starling, Kayla & Laken Burchette, Kathy Briggs, Rob Satter, Terina Lineberry, and the many friends and family who helped Mr. & Mrs. Lineberry during this difficult time. Also, the staff of Mtn. Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mr. Lineberry. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Lineberry family.
