Eugene Lester Stebbins

Mr. Eugene Lester Stebbins, 86, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 4, 2018 after a long illness.  Eugene was born on January 26, 1932 to Elmer L. Stebbins and Ella Schroder Stebbins. He loved being the drummer for 40 years with the Deutschmeister, and the Peak’N Mountain Boys, enjoyed working outside on his tractor, playing keyboard, fishing, snowplowing, woodworking, and time spent with his dogs, grand and great grandchildren. He was a member of Clymer United Methodist Church in Clymer, NY.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife Eleanor Eades Stebbins and 2nd wife, Luella Bemis Stebbins. Surviving are his three children, Darrell E. Stebbins (Denise), Douglas L. Stebbins (Penny) and Debora Stebbins Taylor (Jeff), grandchildren; Robert Baum (Rebecca), Benjamin Baum, Cory Stebbins (Elizabeth), Tyler Stebbins, Dr. Jennifer VandeVelde (Nick), Dr. Tina Bereda (Dr. Dave), Stephanie Thomas (Adam), Isaac Williams and Simon Williams, great grandchildren, Emily, Abigail, Tristin, Vince, Willow, Jorden, Asher, Dante, Anthony and step-daughter, Nancy Vanderschaaff..  A service will be held in New York.
