Eva Mae Shinault Grose

Grose Yadkinville – Eva Mae Shinault Grose, 87, passed away January 11, 2018 and was born July 23, 1930. Most everyone who ever came into contact with Miss Eva liked her right from the beginning.  Her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors loved her.  Her late husband Gilbert and her daughter Nancy absolutely adored her.  She had such a gentle soul.  Eva was so sweet and so kind and always looked for the good in everyone.  Although she enjoyed seeing the leaves change color in the mountains and the drive up to Aunt Bees in Mt. Airy for a hamburger, her favorite place was home.  Her favorite saying was… “There’s no place like home.”  We will all miss you Miss Eva.  Rest in Peace.  The family requests no flowers and we want to thank Mountain Valley Hospice for all the love and care shown to Eva.  A private service will be held at a later date.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Grose family.
