Evelyn Yarber Ball

Mrs. Evelyn C. Yarber Ball, 90, passed away, Thursday, December 14, 2023. She was born May 10, 1933 in Yadkin County, NC to the late Robert W. Yarber and Bertha Key Yarber. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph T. Ball Jr., sister, Mary Yarber Hutchins; brother, Robert Clyde Yarber. She is survived by her daughter, Terry L. (Stephen) Ball; grandchildren, Stephen M. (Vanessa) Ball, Sarah Ball, Rachel (Logan) Proctor; great-grandchildren, Emerson Proctor, Jameson Proctor, and Jasper Proctor. She was a member and enjoyed fellowship at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Burlington, NC. Christmas was her favorite time of year which she spent in Georgia with her family. She was a devoted lover of all animals. She enjoyed many genres of music with gospel being a favorite. She also played piano. A funeral service will be 2:00PM, Monday, December 18, 2023 in the Gentry Family Chapel, 5108 US 601 HwyYadkinville, NC 27055 Burial will follow at Turner’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 3216 Courtney-Huntsville Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
