El Sr Ezequiel González Juárez, de 82 años, falleció el sábado 8 de febrero de 2025.

Nació en México el 2 de diciembre de 1942, hijo de, J. Concepción González y Antonia Juárez, y sus hermanos, Josefina, Concepción, Teresa, Rufina, Miguel, Nicolás, Rufino, Juan y Federico. 

Ezequiel asistía a la Iglesia Católica del Divino Redentor. Le encantaba leer la Biblia, rezar el rosario y visitar el Santísimo Sacramento. Le gustaba la jardinería, cuidar de sus gallinas y su perro. Tenia preferencia por la comida mexicana, salvadoreña y colombiana; su restaurant favorito era Golden Corral. Ezequiel le gustaba usar productos Forever Living Products. Era muy paciente, trabajador, dedicado, siempre ponía a los demás primero, nunca se rendía ante nada a pesar de sus propias circunstancias y le encantaba dar consejos a los demás. Sobre todo, amaba pasar tiempo con su familia. Fue un gran esposo, padre y abuelo. Ezequiel será profundamente extrañado por todos los que tuvieron la dicha de conocerlo y amarlo.

Además de sus padres, le precedieron en la muerte cuatro hijos, Minerva, Roberto, Blas y Angélica.

Le sobrevive su esposa, Martha González y sus hijos, de su primer matrimonio, Rosa (José Salas), Plácido (Elvira) González, Víctor (Reina) González, Moisés (María) González, Maria Margarita (Nicolás Alvarez), Ricardo (Gladis) González y Paula (Ernesto Parro) y sus nietos, Angélica, José Luis, Rosa, Kassandra Kelley, Erick, Maritza, Christian, Miguel, Carmen, Edith, Janet, Víctor Manuel, María Guadalupe, Daisy Elizabeth, Natalie, Daniel, Andrea, Martín David, Jonathan, Nicolás, Erik, Carolina, Isabella, Diego, Tommy y Sammy y sus bisnietos, Alex, Alina, Gabriel, Emanuel y Samuel y sus hijastros, Sandra Sorto, Gladis (Christian Garcia), y Marta (Keith Vestal) y sus nietos, Karina, Alfredo, Kevin, Elias, Danielle, Emilia y Iveth y sus la madre de sus hijos, María Guadalupe Núñez.

El viernes 14 de febrero de 2025 a las 13:00 horas se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre en la Iglesia Católica del Divino Redentor en Boonville. El entierro se llevará a cabo en Yadkin Memorial Gardens. La familia recibirá a sus amigos de 7:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. el jueves 13 de febrero de 2025 en Gentry Family Funeral Service en Yadkinville, que está sirviendo a la familia.

 


Mr. Ezequiel Gonzalez Juarez, 82, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

He was born in Mexico on December 2, 1942 to his parents, J. Concepcion Gonzalez and Antonia Juarez, and his siblings, Josefina, Concepcion, Teresa, Rufina, Miguel, Nicolas, Rufino, Juan, and Federico. 

Ezequiel attended Divine Redeemer Catholic Church. He loved to read his Bible, pray the Rosary, and visit Holy Sacrament. Ezequiel enjoyed gardening and taking care of his chickens and his dog. He had a preference for Mexican food, Salvadorian food, and Columbian food; his favorite restaurant was Golden Corral. Ezequiel loved his forever products. He was very patient, a hard worker, very dedicated, always put others first, never gave up on anything despite his own circumstances, and loved to give advice to others. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. Ezequiel will be deeply missed by everyone who had the special privilege to know and love him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four children, Minerva, Roberto, Blas, and Angelica.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Martha Gonzalez; children from his first marriage, Rosa (Jose Salas), Placido (Elvira) Gonzalez, Victor (Reina) Gonzalez, Moises (Maria) Gonzalez, Maria Margarita (Nicolas Alvarez), Ricardo (Gladis) Gonzalez, and Paula (Ernesto Parro); grandchildren, Angelica, Jose Luis, Rosa, Kassandra Kelley, Erick, Maritza, Christian, Miguel, Carmen, Edith, Janet, Victor Manuel, Maria Guadalupe, Daisy Elizabeth, Natalie, Daniel, Andrea, Martin David, Jonathan, Nicolas, Erik, Carolina, Isabella, Diego, Tommy, and Sammy; great-grandchildren, Alex, Alina, Gabriel, Emanuel, and Samuel; step children, Sandra Sorto, Gladis (Christian Garcia), and Marta (Keith Vestal); step grandchildren, Karina, Alfredo, Kevin, Elias, Danielle, Emilia, and Iveth; and the mother of his children, Maria Guadalupe Nunez.

A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church in Boonville. Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, who is serving the family.
