Frances Wilhelm King

Hamptonville Mrs. Frances Evelyn Wilhelm King, 77, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at SECU Hospice Care Center.  Mrs. King was born April 1, 1942 in Yadkin County to Everette and Eva Mae Wilkins Wilhelm.  She retired from Unifi after 30 years of service.  Mrs. King was a graduate of Boonville High School, Class of 1960. In addition to her parents, Mrs. King was preceded in death by two sisters, Patsy Billiot and Margie Vannoy; and two brothers, Roy Wilhelm and Fred Wilhelm.  She is survived by her loving husband, Jack King; her son, Link (Heather) King; grandsons, Ryan and Reid King; a step grandson, Matt Hill; one brother, Dale (Kathy) Wilhelm; sister-in-law, Mildred Wilhelm; brothers-in-law, Willie Vannoy, Leo (Katie) King and Allen (Shirley) King; numerous nieces and nephews; and her friends at Debbie’s Snack bar.  A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Mtn. View Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tucker officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00AM prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin, 243 N. Lee Ave. Yadkinville, NC 27055 or to Yadkin County Rescue Squad.  The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of SECU Hospice Care Center and Kelly, Ashley, and Christy at Forsyth Neuro for the loving care given to Mrs. King.
