Gail Chadwick Faircloth

East Bend – Gail Chadwick Faircloth, 83, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023.  She was born October 1, 1940 in Forsyth County to the late William and Carrie Chadwick Langley.  Gail was a longtime member of Union United Methodist Church.  She retired from R.J. Reynolds after 33 years of service.  Gail enjoyed cooking, spending time outdoors, working in her vegetable garden and also her flower garden, but her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Faircloth.  Gail is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bobby Lee Faircloth; children, Ricky (Beth) Faircloth, Renee (Alan) Hunter; daughter-in-law, Terri Faircloth; grandchildren, Emily (Kirk) Matthews, Chad (Ciera) Faircloth, Jake (Lauren) Faircloth, Will Faircloth, Alec (Regan) Faircloth, Clint (Chelsea) Hunter, Jessie (Dustin) Harmon; great grandchildren, Addie Matthews, Elsie Matthews, Jacob Matthews, Lylah Arnett, Harper Faircloth, Mia Faircloth, Graham Faircloth; Lilly Cousins, Caroline Hunter, Logan Hunter.  Her memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Union United Methodist Church by the Rev. Eddie Evans and the Rev. Randy Pardue.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Union United Methodist Church.  Memorials can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 243 N.
