Gary Preston Thompson, Sr.

Gary Preston Thompson, Sr., 71, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021. Mr. Thompson was born September 6, 1949 in Caldwell County to Forris Clifton Thompson and Claudia “Judy” Slate Thompson. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are his mother Judy Slate Thompson; children Michelle (Daryl) Sharpe, Gary (Heather) Thompson, Jr., Mickey (Anna) Thompson, Michael (Harlee) Thompson, Jenny Thompson; grandchildren Derek Thompson, Kaylee Thompson, Mia Wilkins, Levi Thompson, Makenzie Thompson, Madison Thompson; brothers Roky (Irene) Thompson, Tim Thompson. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend is serving the Thompson family.
