Gay Greer Snow

Yadkinville Gay Greer Snow, 89, of Shore Road went to be with her loving family in Heaven on Tuesday, October 2nd while at home with love and care from family.   She was born July 23, 1929 in Ashe County to the late Elzie McKinley and Florence Verona Greer.  She was an amazing Mom, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend.  She loved living a full life which included being a hard-working and strong woman, loving her Lord and family to the fullest.  Being the loving woman that she was, her family and friends now know that she will look over them from Heaven alongside her one true love, Foster.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Foster, 4 brothers - Ralph, Worth, Everett and Bud, 3 Sisters - Mae, Faye and Ruby, 2 Sons-in-Law – Lynn Redding & Michael Royall.  Surviving are her beloved children, Becky Redding, Gary and Cathy Snow, Margie Royall, Chris Snow, all of Yadkinville; Patricia Lopez-Snow and Ramon of Charlotte; Grandchildren  - Lynn and Amy Snow(Ethan and Troy), Greta and Nate Haggstrom (Wesley and Ellen), Melanie and Michael Shore (Josh and Tyler), Heath and Stacey Snow(Emma and Eli), Jon and Jennifer Redding, Mandy and Cliff Weida (Taryn, Michael, Vance and Abby), Jennifer and Mark Van Sickler (Greyson, Alexis, Raelynne and Trace), Emily and Ryan Norman (Laney Beth, Reid and McKinley), Amber and John Glasscock (Raleigh Foster), Megan and Andrew Meneghini (Aiden, Everett and Ellie), Kristen Snow, Kendall Snow, Ruby Lopez-Snow, Lucas Lopez-Snow, Luna Lopez-Snow, her sister - Grace Stanley and many nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 PM Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville with the service to follow immediately at 3:00 PM in the Gentry Family Family Chapel by Rev.
