George Franklin Wishon, Jr.

Junior Wishon, 71, passed away on Monday January 8, 2018. He was born January 9, 1946 in Yadkin County to the late George F Wishon Sr. (Pete) and Sallie Reavis Wishon Connell. He was an avid pilot who loved his family and friends. Junior enjoyed building airplanes and working on cars with his son Randy and grandson Derrick. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife Donna Wishon; sister Ethel Wishon and brother Robert Wishon; daughter Kelly (Doug) Kieffer; son Randy (Lori) Wishon; daughter Brittany (Todd) Shore; son Michael Trivette; six grandchildren Ashley Kieffer, Derrick (Hannah) Wishon, Casey Kieffer, Tiffany Wishon, Hannah Shore, Briley Shore and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday January 13, 2017 at Gentry Family Funeral service in Yadkinville. Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM following the visitation in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Donald Taylor. Burial will follow at Solid Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
