Gilda Marie Reynolds Martin

Mrs. Gilda Marie Reynolds Martin, 77, passed away on January 22, 2024. She was born in Davie County on July 24, 1946 to the late Robert Jordan Reynolds and Sadie Katherine Revels Reynolds. Gilda enjoyed farming, riding motorcycles, and camping. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Gilda is preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Gray Reynolds, Leroy Reynolds, George Reynolds, Billy Ray Reynolds, Dennis Clay Reynolds; and a sister, Fern McCurdy. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Kenneth Leon Martin; a daughter, Yvette (Tony) Liberati; granddaughters, Raleigh (Ronald) Solis, Alex (DJ) Hardin; great-grandchildren, Olivia Solis, Silas Solis, Jonas Solis, and a new one on the way, Alayia Hardin; sisters, Retha Reynolds, Gaynell Webb, Sandra (Chris) Parks; and a brother, Wayne (Pam) Reynolds. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Timothy Porter officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 - 2:00 PM.
