Mr. Giles “Bill” William Bullard, 78, passed away on April 21, 2025. He was born in Wilkes County on January 26, 1947, to the late Giles Wesley and Olivia Martin Bullard. Bill enjoyed carp fishing, wrestling, motorcycles, playing solitaire on the computer, NASCAR, and the Atlanta Braves. He also enjoyed playing the card games of Rook and Canasta with his friends and family. Most importantly, he loved his family and spending time with them.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Francis Johnson; brothers, James Bullard, Clarence Bullard, Jerry Bullard; and a great grandson, William Bentley Martin. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Pamela Blevins Bullard; children, Rachel Bullard (Fiancé, Andrew Mogilesky), Christine (Phil) Hiatt, Tina Bullard, Jessica (Phillip) Collins; grandchildren, Haley Martin, William Martin, Ryne Hiatt, Jeremiah Hill, Zeke Hill, Zach Hill, Ian Collins, and Ryan Brown; sisters, Nancy Mickel, Ella (Joe) Griffin, Marie Flannery, JoAnn (Kevin) Blevins, Nina (Mickey) Hayes, Hilda (David) Dancy; brothers, Thomas (Debra) Bullard; and many nieces and nephews who he loved like they were his own.
A funeral service for Bill will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel of Yadkinville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Dennyville Baptist Church Cemetery with full Military Honors.
The family would like to thank the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice for their love and care over Bill.
