Yadkinville – Glenda Almana Taylor Church, 75, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, October 12, 2020. She was surrounded by her loving family. Glenda was born May 24, 1945 in Yadkin County to the late Glenn Everette Taylor and Peggy Davis Taylor. Glenda was employed at Western Electric for 18 years and then Tyco before her retirement. Glenda enjoyed working in her flowers, making baskets, and being with her family. She was a member at Grace Bible Church. She leaves behind the love of her life, Richard Allen Church of 60 years; two children who will miss her very much, Terry (Kyndal) Church of Yadkinville, Kim (Bryan) Sheppard of Yadkinville; three grandchildren that she adored, Taylor (Morgan) Church, Cody Pollard (Kailey Queen) and Madisynn Church all of Yadkinville; one great grandchild who was the light of her world, Emory Church; two brothers, Kenneth (Linda) Taylor of East Bend, Danny Taylor of Clemmons. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Lambe. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Grace Bible Church by the Rev Jr. Thompson. Burial will follow at Harmony Grove Cemetery. Glenda had a smile for everyone she met and was loved by so many.
