Grace Catherine Brown Miller

Grace Catherine Brown Miller, 95, passed away Sunday January 17, 2021. She was born March 16, 1925 in Yadkin County to the late Pet Jackson Brown and Mamie Murphy Brown. Mrs. Miller was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where she had perfect attendance for over 50 years until her declining health. She loved to work in her yard. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Marion Gray Miller; sister Nancy Brown; two brothers Aldon Brown and Bill Brown. Surviving are her daughter Dorene Brown; grandson Douglas Brown; Sister Brenda (Clark) Shore; Brother Aubrey Lee Brown; many nieces and nephews and also many special friends. Mrs. Miller will be available for public viewing from 12:00 – 5:00 PM on Wednesday January 20, 2021 and from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Thursday January 21, 2021 at Gentry Family Funeral service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday January 21, 2021 at Gentry Family Chapel by Ronnie Vanhoy and Ronnie King. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church 1524 Nebo Rd. Boonville, NC 27011 0r Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Rd. Dobson, NC 27017.
