Harry Lee Wrights

Lewisville Mr. Harry Lee Wrights, 86, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Wrights was born September 21, 1932 in Forsyth County to William and Paralea Moser Wrights. He was a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean War. He enjoyed deer hunting and was an avid reader. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wrights was preceded in death by a son, Roger Lee Wrights; and siblings, Lucille Wood, William Henry Wrights, Jr., Roy F. Wrights, Lloyd Wrights, Nancy Kwall, Ronald Eugene Wrights, and Judy Bowden. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Bonnie Stewart Wrights; four children, Harry William “Billy” (Rhonda) Wrights, Karen Wrights (William) Spease, Bonita Wrights Martin, and Deborah Wrights (Terry) Wood; grandchildren, Annie (David) Gill, Kelcy (James) Taylor, Amber (Brad) Hutchens, Autumn Rogers, Richard (Rebekah) Spease, John (Taylor) Spease, Madison (Donnie) Hardy, Ethan Wood; great grandchildren, Bayleigh, Mackenzie, Grace, Skylar, Dylan, Kadyn, Gaybriel, Alexis, William, and Elizabeth; one sister, Onie Wrights McVay; one brother, Allen (Dorothy) Wrights; and several aunts, cousins, nieces &nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00PM, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Peace Haven Baptist Church, 2200 Boogerswamp Road Yadkinville, NC 27055, with Dr. Jon Bowman and Rev. George Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park with full military honors provided by VFW Memorial Honor Guard and the National Guard Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00PM prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alpha Acres, 1939 Morning Star Dr. Yadkinville, NC 27055.
