Yadkinville-  Mr. Harvel Dean Steelman, 64, of McKinley Road passed away peacefully Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin.  He was born April 8, 1959 in Iredell County to the late Harvel Mack and Doris Harris Steelman.  Mr. Steelman worked at Unifi Inc. of Yadkinville for a combined 40 years.  He was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church, enjoyed hunting and fishing earlier in his life, and was a loving devoted husband.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Kay Steelman Sizemore.  Surviving are his beloved wife of 18 years, Martha Pinnix Steelman; his step-son, Daniel Lee Shore and wife, Pamela; 2 step-grandsons,  Collin Reid Shore, Grayson Matthew Shore; his sister, Robin Steelman Mitchell; and several loving nieces and nephews.  A Private Service will be held at a later date at Sandy Springs Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Jim Witten.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin, 243 North Lee Ave. Yadkinville, NC  27055.
