Helen Frazier Riggan Schultz, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 24, 2020, in Mechanicsville, VA. She was a loving and devoted Mother and Grandmother. Mrs. Schultz was born August 28, 1934 in Boonville, NC, to the late Tyra Jones Frazier and Mamie Copley Frazier. She graduated from Boonville High School, and was a member of the Boonville Baptist Church in her youth. She lived her faith in devotion to God and family. Mrs. Schultz lived in Waynesboro, VA, for 50 years where she worked with Hopeman Brothers, Inc. for 30 years, and in Glen Allen, VA, for the past 6 years. Mrs. Schultz was preceded in eternal rest by first husband, John T. Riggan, and second husband, Howard G. Schultz; brother Jimmie Wilson Frazier, sister Nellie Frazier Craver, and brother Julius Allen (JA) Frazier, all siblings were from of Boonville, NC. She is survived by son John T. Riggan, Jr. (Jane) of Cincinnati, OH; daughter Linda Riggan Walter (John) of Mechanicsville, VA; son Jerry J. Riggan (Julie) of Glen Allen, VA; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Riggan, Rebecca Riggan, Robert Riggan (Erica), Andrew Walter (Kendall), Nathan Walter (Marcie), Nancy Walter, Emily Riggan, Kelly Riggan; two great-grandchildren, Wade Riggan and Hattie Walter; one sister-in-law, Marie Frazier Hailey of Boonville, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends for a time of reflection from 1:00-2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, NC, followed by a graveside ceremony 2:30 PM at Boonville Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend John Brown officiating.
