Hilda Marlene Pardue Holcomb

Hilda Marlene Pardue Holcomb, 71, passed away Thursday December 7, 2017. She was born November 15, 1946 in Iredell County to the late Tom and Fuschia Bell Pardue. Mrs. Holcomb was a member of Union Baptist Church. She graduated from Bowman Gray School of Nursing and retired from Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tim Holcomb. Surviving are her two sons Chip Church (Fiancée Jillian Geiger), Jason Church; two granddaughters Taylor Church and Morgan Church; and several extended family members. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday December 9, 2017 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Sunday December 10, 2017 at Union Baptist Church by Rev. Kenny Pardue. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff at the SECU Hospice Home of Yadkin for the loving care given to Mrs. Holcomb.
