Hubert Wayne Hemric

Mr. Hurbert Wayne Hemric, 95, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023. He was born May 24, 1928 in Yadkin County to the late George Harrison Hemric and Sally Hemric. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mozelle Willard Pinnix, his second wife, Sally Hemric; his daughter-in-law, Nancy Hemric, and ten brothers and sisters. Mr. Hemric loved hunting and fishing. He is survived by his son, Larry “Gabby” Hemric; a step-daughter, Connie Milam; grandchildren, Brian Hemric, Michelle Hemric, Kimerly Haynes; great-grandchildren, Kamden Kimmer, Raven Kimmer, Keaton Kimmer. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons with Rev. Mark Hurley officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of Yadkin Nursing Care and the staff of Liberty Hospice for the loving care given to Wayne.
