Irene Kelly Robinson

East Bend- Irene Kelly Robinson formerly of Middletown, Ct and recently of Deland, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 6, 2022.  She was born and raised in the Baltimore Community of Yadkin County on September 16, 1920, to the late Jerry and Ethel Kelly.  Mrs. Robinson became a Registered Nurse and served in the US Army Nurse Corps during WWII.  She continued her nursing career in Middletown, Ct until her retirement in 1988.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters and a Granddaughter, Tammy J. Robinson.  Surviving are her 2 sons, Richard L. Robinson II and wife, Sharon of Deland, Fla.; George L. Robinson and wife, Jill of Melbourne, Fla.; Grandchildren, Becky J. Bartell, Richie L. Robinson III and Kelly J. Robinson; Great-Grandchildren, Autumn J. Bartell and Tate R. Robinson; a sister, Zola K. Speer; and several nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  Her funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Chad Shoaf.  Interment will follow in the Baltimore United Methodist Church Cemetery of East Bend.  If desired, donations can be sent to Kindred Hospice, 1717 N.
