Jack Cook

Mr. Jack Cook, 71, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. He was born in Grady County, Georgia on October 18, 1951 to Woodrow Cook and Etta Law Cook. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Siemens, but he had most recently been working at NAPA Auto Parts, where he really enjoyed his time at. Jack was a member of East Bend Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Everyone who had the privilege to know him will miss him greatly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Robert and Edna Steelman; brothers-in-law, Leland Rawls and Jack Miller; and sister-in-law, Andrea Simms. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 31 years, Theresa Cook; children, Tony and Ricky Cook; grandchildren; sisters, Loretta Rawls and Virginia Miller; brother-in-law, Gordon Simms; sister-in-law, Judy Painter; nieces and nephews, Stacie Rawls, Brian (Angie) Miller, Crystal (Glenn) Stubits, Denise (Mike) Wood, Shane (Sandra) Painter, Bethanie (John) Johnson, Jeff (Cassidy) Simms, and Bryan (Ruth) Simms; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at East Bend Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to East Bend Baptist Church, 112 Fairground Rd, East Bend, NC 27018. Gentry Family Funeral Service of East Bend is serving the Cook family.
