Jackie Wesley Morgan, Sr.

High Point, NC-  Mr. Jackie Wesley Morgan, Sr., passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Yadkin Nursing Center in Yadkinville, NC.  He was born May 26, 1947 in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late Felix Ellis Morgan and Jessie Aretta Cummings Morgan. Jack was a veteran of the US Army, of the Church of God faith, and retired from Sales in the Automotive Industry.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his granddaughters, Brittany Morgan and Megan Slagle; sister, Faye Darby; brother, Ray Morgan; and brothers-in-law, Will Calvert, Ralph Darby, Eugene Bishop, and Roger Stamper.  Surviving are his wife, Brenda Green Morgan, of the home; his 3 children, Steven D. Morgan, Jackie W. Morgan, Jr., Rhonda G. Morgan; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Shirley Calvert, Juanita (Nita) Stamper, and Noka Bishop. A private Memorial Service for the family will be held at a later date.
