James "Ace" Atha Dull

Yadkinville Mr. James “Ace” Atha Dull, 81, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin. Mr. Dull was born July 15, 1937 in Yadkin County to Earlie and Nettie Norman Dull. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church and was the owner of Ace’s Restaurant for many years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dull was preceded in death by five sisters, Peggy Williams, Nell Atkins, Irene Hiatt, Frances Yarborough, and Katie Matthews. He is survived by one sister, Judy (Billy) Hodge; one brother, Bill (Libby) Dull; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 4:00PM, at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Darryl Vestal and Patty Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Enon Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
