James Walter Ingool, 81 of King, passed away January 24, 2019. He was born to parents Walter James Ingool and Irene Rogers Ingool on October 10, 1937 in (Pleasant Hill Community) Elkin, NC. James worked at Bloomer Wear in Elkin, JP Stevens in Turnersburg, and Unifi in Yadkinville. James (Jay or JW as some called him) enjoyed attending classic car shows and beach fishing trips with his wife Mary, motorcycling with family members in the 80’s. James was a devoted husband, caring father, and always greeted you with a smile. Family was always his first priority. James is survived by sister Letha Grose and husband Thomas of Statesville, sister; Lois Wolf and husband Jonathan of Dundas, VA; son Marty Jay Ingool and wife Amy of Pinnacle; daughter Penny Boyles of King; grandchildren Christifier K. Lee of Pinnacle, Autumn Dee and husband Justin of Cary; Marty D. Ingool of East Bend; Peggy Flynn, special friend and Mother of his children of East Bend; multitude of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Ingool, a sister Doris Ingool Kennedy, a brother, Paul Dwight Ingool. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Sunday January 27, 2019 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM following the visitation in the Gentry Family Chapel by Chris Brown. Burial will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Ronda, NC.
