James Charles "Jimmy" Matthews

James Charles “Jimmy” Matthews, 65, passed away Monday December 11, 2017. Jimmy was born May 7, 1952 in Yadkin County to the late Charlie and Hazel Wooten Matthews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Rachel Matthews; nephew Tommy Rodchester. Survived by nephew Wayne (Mary) Rochester; great nephews Rodney Rochester II, Jonathan Rochester, and Steven Rochester. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday December 16, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Stephen Evans. Burial will follow at Yadkinville Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
