James "Mickey" Trivette

Hamptonville Mr. James “Mickey” Trivette, 68, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mickey was born March 1, 1954 in Yadkin County to Charlie Preston and Ruth Royal Trivette. He enjoyed Duke Basketball and loved socializing with people especially at Debbie’s Snackbar. Mickey retired from RJ Reynolds. In addition to his parents, Mickey was preceded in death by four brothers, Robbie, Roger, Tommy and Joe Trivette; and a brother-in-law, Earl Campbell. He is survived by two sons, Jamie (Kimberly) Trivette and Kevin Trivette; two grandchildren, Jayden & Zachary Trivette; a sister, Sylvia Campbell; a brother, Ike (Linda) Trivette; the mother of his children, Lisa Trivette; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Kenny Pardue officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Trivette family.
