Janette White Caudle

Mrs. Janette Grey White Caudle, 93, of Longtown Road, Yadkinville, passed away on February 2, 2025. Born in Yadkin County on December 9, 1931 to Montgomery Monroe White and Clara Renegar White. Mrs. Caudle retired from Forsyth Hospital where she worked as a CNA for 20 years. During her golden years, she enjoyed gardening and canning the fruits of her labor. She was blessed with a green thumb, and that skill would shine through in her flowerbeds. During hay season you would find her driving the back roads to locate her husband and provide him lunch. Off the hay field, Mom & Dad enjoyed spending time together at the Turnersburg Livestock Auction. She was a member of Longtown Pentecostal Holiness Church and was known for her sour cream poundcake at homecoming and other church events. She loved the Lord and she loved her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Calvin Alvis Caudle, brother, Bill White; and brother-in-law, Joseph W. Cummings. Surviving are her children, Teresa Davis (James), and Todd Caudle (Shannon). Grandchildren are Dara Ricketson (Mark), Clara Ransom (Colby), and Caitlin Williams (Jody); great-granddaughter, Magnolia Ransom, and a second great-granddaughter (baby Williams) expected in May; sister, Lorene Cummings, sister-in-law, Shirley White; along with several special nieces, a nephew, and other extended family. The family would like to thank a very special group of ladies that helped care for our Mom - Ginger Hunter, Kathy Casstevens, Melissa Childress, and Robin Martin. You ladies are truly a blessing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Gentry Family Funeral Service. The service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Mike Allen officiating. After the service, we will gather at Longtown Cemetery for the burial. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SECU Hospice Care Center, in Yadkinville. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Caudle family.
