Janie Mae Brown Parker

Janie Mae Brown Parker, 75, passed away Wednesday January 5, 2022. She was born February 26, 1946 in Surry County to the late Bill Brown and Martha Jane Miller Brown. Mrs. Parker was a member of Union Cross Friends. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Virtue, she played the piano at different churches, she was artistic, she loved her family very much and attended all family events. Surviving are her husband of 56 years Rev. James Early Parker; two daughters Michelle Anderson, Ashley Manuel; grandchildren Evan Anderson, Jacob (Brittany) Anderson, Seth Anderson, Kaitlyn Manuel, Travis Manuel; great grandchildren Mckinleigh Anderson, Karsyn Anderson, Brystol Anderson, Boone Anderson; sister Patricia Brown; brothers Donald (Margaret) Brown, Johnny (Linda) Brown. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Sunday January 9, 2022 at Union Cross Friends Church. Her funeral will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM Sunday January 9, 2022. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Due to the Covid-19 the family requires that mask be worn at all times. Flowers will be accepted or memorials made to Union Cross Friends Cemetery Fund 2533 Union Cross Church Rd. Yadkinville, NC 27055.
