CLEMMONS - MR. Jeffery Adrian “Pappy” Brinkley, Sr., 46, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at his home. He was born January 31, 1978 in Durham County to Doug and Debra Pitts Brinkley. Mr. Brinkley worked with Clemmons Windows & Door, loved playing golf, loved his canine friends, “Tank Tank” and “Baby”, was an avid Duke University fan, and had a special love for his children, his granddaughter, and his beloved family. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jason Brinkley. Surviving are his wife, Revonda B. Brinkley; his 3 children, J.J. Brinkley, LeAnn Brinkley, Isabella Salmon; step-son, Alexander Searls; granddaughter, Scarlett Searls; his parents, Doug and Debra P. Brinkley; his grandfather, Doug ”Papa” Pitts; nephews, Blake Brinkley, Noah and Hayden; niece, Carli Brinkley; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5-6 PM Tuesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend and other times at their home at 2528 Butner Mill Road, East Bend, NC 27018. A Celebration of Life Service will follow the visitation at 6 PM Tuesday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Marvin Sheets.
