Jeffery Joel Jenkins

Dobson Mr. Jeffery Joel Jenkins, 41, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at his home. Mr. Jenkins was born July 11, 1975 in Yadkin County to Jackie Joel and Darlene Allgood Jenkins. He greatly enjoyed karate, gardening, fishing, and small engine repair. Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his grandfather Issac Aaron Allgood Sr.; and grandparents Iva and Doctor Jenkins. He is survived by his parents Jackie and Darlene Jenkins; sister Jamie (Danny) Athan; son Jordon Levi Jenkins; niece Brooke (Garratt) Moxley; nephew Mason Athan (fiancé Madeline Nixon); grandmother Roxie Childress Allgood; and special aunt Bonnie Williams. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Jenkinstown. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
