Jennifer "Shae" Hutchens

East Bend Ms. Jennifer “Shae” Hutchens, 19, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020. Shae was born June 6, 2001 in Surry County. Ms. Hutchens was preceded in death by grandparents, Susan Hutchens, Helen Barnette, and James Lawrence Spillman; and an uncle, Gray Hutchens. She is survived by her infant son, James Junior Hutchens; mother, Lynn Hutchens; father, Ronnie (Kim) Hutchens; brothers, Mickey and Dakota Hutchens; grandfather, Donald Hutchens; aunts and uncle, Ann Brown, Hope (Jason) St. John, and Darrell Hutchens; great uncle, Johnny Hutchens; cousins, Kevin (Bailey) Brown, Morgan Brown, Mackenzie (Jordan) Doub, Nichole Hutchens, and Mason & Jordan St. John; boyfriend, Dakota Anders; and many special family and friends. A public viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Friday September 11th at United Fellowship Church with Pastor Marty Wood and Rev. Chris Brown officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville to assist the family with the funeral cost.
