Jennifer Dawn Swisher

Hamptonville Ms. Jennifer Dawn Swisher, 28, went into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Jennifer was born July 18, 1989 in Surry County to Francis and Laura Dewitt Swisher. She was a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church. Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents, Madge Swisher and Gordon Dewitt, Sr. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Emma Madelyn Swisher; a sister, Michele (Jamey) Parrish; grandmother, Frances Dewitt; two nieces, Peyton and Codi Parrish; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friends, David Smith, Michael Smith, Janet Smith, Brandi Erving, Lori Swaim, Curtis Lyons, and Johnny Gomez. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00pm, Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Peace Haven Baptist Church with Dr. Jon Bowman and Rev. George Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM, prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peace Haven Baptist Church, 2200 Booger Swamp Rd.
