Jerald William Overcash

Ronda Mr. Jerald William Overcash, 77, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his home. Mr. Overcash was born September 12, 1943 in Rowan County to William and Pauline Riley Overcash. He was a member of Temple Hill UMC and enjoyed farming and taking care of his animals. In addition to his parents, Mr. Overcash was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy Adams Overcash and a daughter, Penny Overcash Smith. He is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Richmond) Hollmeyer and Jill (Rick) Gilleland; many loved grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Paula Haigler. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Temple Hill UMC 1311 Somers Road Ronda, NC 28670 or to Mtn. Valley Hospice 243 N.
