Jerry Lewis Adams

Hamptonville Mr. Jerry Lewis Adams, 83, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at his home. Mr. Adams was born April 4, 1938 in Yadkin County to Early and Helen Bean Adams. He was a member of Hanes Grove UMC and enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and camping. In addition to his parents, Mr. Adams was preceded in death by a son, Joel Lee Adams. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Claudine Wiles Adams; two children, Jerry “Keith” (Audra) Adams and Daren (Sonya) Adams; grandchildren, Emily (Seth) Williams, Molly Adams, Matthew (April) Adams, Luke Adams, and Erin Tate; great grandchildren, Aylabelle, Abigail, Annesleigh, and Lily; and a K-9 companion, Moe. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Hanes Grove UMC with Pastor Mark Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
