Jerry Wayne Carter

Carter East Bend – Jerry Wayne Carter, 67, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019. He was born December 24, 1951 in Forsyth County to Alvis Herman Carter and Mabel Williams Carter.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel Carter.  Surviving is his wife, Vickie Brown Carter; father, Alvis Carter; children, Susan Johnson, Stephanie Brown; sisters, Wanda (Joe) Burchette, Sharon (Junior) Hutchins; nephews, Michael Davis, Lee (Lindsey) Burchette; niece, Jo Ann Burchette.  His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Peacehaven Baptist church by the Rev. Jon Bowman and the Rev. George Evans.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Peacehaven Baptist Church.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Carter family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
