Yadkinville – Jerry Keith Kimmer, 59, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021. He was born January 1, 1962 in Yadkin County. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Garvey Hayes, maternal grandmother, Mae Greer Hayes; paternal grandfather, Willis Green Kimmer; paternal grandmother, Ethel Mosteller Kimmer. Mr. Kimmer worked with the Town of Mocksville Maintenance Dept. for several years. Surviving are his son, Preston Kimmer, and Fiancé, Sheena; daughter, Keri Miles and husband, Dustin; his mother, Fairene Hayes Rannells; his father, WG Kimmer and wife, Marilyn; 2 grandchildren, Natalie Payne and Raiden Miles; brother, Kevin Kimmer and wife, Jeanine; uncles, Jim Hayes, Benny Kimmer and wife, Phyllis; nephew, Nick Kimmer and wife, Amanda; and great nephew, Ollie. Keith will lie in-state from 8-4 PM Tuesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev.
