Jerry Ray Whitaker

Yadkinville Mr. Jerry Ray Whitaker, 64, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018. Mr. Whitaker was born June 5, 1953 in Yadkin County to the late James Harold and Betty Joyner Whitaker. Mr. Whitaker is survived by three step daughters, Lorenda Jenkins (Jamie Wilmoth), Patricia (Shannon) Reynolds, and Linda Gail Barry; six step grandchildren; two sisters, Sonya (Ray) Peele and Sharron (David) Sloop; and a twin brother, Terry Whitaker. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Center UMC with Rev. JP Sizemore and Rev. Bill Foust officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
