Jesse Dean Hardy

East Bend Mr. Jesse “Dean” Hardy, 61, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 at his home.  Mr. Hardy was born June 20, 1958 in Forsyth County to Jesse James and Gracie Taylor Hardy.  He enjoyed music and classic cars.  Dean worked for K&G Salvage and Linebach’s Machinery for many years.  In addition to his father, Mr. Hardy was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Speas Hardy.  He is survived by his mother; one brother, Vance Hardy; two sisters, Darlene Johnson and Teresa Welborn; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 4:00PM, Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at New Home United Methodist Church cemetery with Pastor Allen Boggs officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30PM, prior to the service at Gentry Funeral Service in East Bend.  The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Trellis Supportive Care for the loving care given to Mr. Hardy during this difficult time.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend is serving the Hardy family.
