Jessie "Bud" Lee McEwen

Jessie “Bud” Lee McEwen, 63, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021. He was born December 1, 1957 in Yadkin County to the late Houston Jesse “Bip” McEwen and Dorothy Hall McEwen. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette “Tootie” Hutchens. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Selena Cheek McEwen; daughters, Kristy (Greg) Coble, and Jessica (Isaac) Propst; grandchildren, Caden Coble, Caleb Coble, Malachi Propst, Emily Propst, Seth Propst, and Evie Propst; sister, Sandra “Sis” (Terry) Sasser, and brother, Jerry “Gub” McEwen. “Bud” enjoyed fishing, and playing golf, but his greatest joy in life was playing with his grandbabies. There will be a public viewing from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
