Jessie Lee McCall Talbert

Mrs. Jessie Lee McCall Talbert, 66, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home.  Mrs. Talbert was born May 24, 1950 to Truey and Hattie Moore McCall.  She enjoyed reading and crocheting before her illness.  Mrs. Talbert was a very spiritual lady who loved to read her bible.  She loved to cook and spend time with her family.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Talbert was preceded in death by a daughter, Ginger Sue Allen; one sister, Patsy Sisco; and one brother, Morris McCall.  She is survived by her husband, Jones Franklin Talbert; three children, Sheryl Morrison, Lisa (Mark) Stokes, and Randal Mitchem; five grandchildren, Laura Opekun, Jeromy Nance, Amelia Stokes, Hunter Mitchem, and Olivia Mitchem; one great grandchild, Tanner Opekun; two sisters, Mary Graham and Shelby McCall; and three brothers, Ralph (Pat) McCall, Paul (Carol) McCall, and Buddy McCall. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Gentry Funeral Chapel in Jonesville.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Woltz Hospice Home for the loving care given to Mrs. Talbert.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road Dobson, NC 27017.
