Jethro "J.C." Calvin Myers

Mr. Jethro Calvin “J.C.” Myers, Jr. age 72, of Supply, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Born in Elkin, NC on September 22, 1950, J.C. was a son of the late Jethro C. Myers, Sr. and Ruby Elizabeth Cranfill Myers. He was a retired purchasing agent with the Chair City Supply Company and more recently worked with the Rigged & Ready Tackle Shop of Holden Beach. J.C. was also a man of strong faith and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He also enjoyed being outdoors fishing and deer hunting. Surviving are his loving wife, Cynthia Tillotson Myers; a son, Jason Scott Myers (Tammy) of Winston Salem, NC; three daughters, Angela Paschal (Jimmy) of Randleman, NC, Nikki Johnson (Forrest) of Bolivia, NC, and Emily Dickens (Michael) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; a brother, David Myers (Judy) of Yadkinville, NC; a sister, Virginia Shore (Edward) of High Point, NC; grandchildren, Ashley Carden, Carrie Rayfield, Hannah Beckham, Amanda Collins, Bryanna Dickens, Ian James Myers, Tyler Tate, and Jordan Dickens; and great grandchildren, Riley Carden and Payton Lipke. The family will receive visitors, family, and friends from 6:00 to 9:00PM on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church in Bolivia, NC. The service will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, December 23, 2022 at the church with Pastor Austin Vestrand and Pastor Robert Lucas officiating. Burial will follow at Silent Grove Cemetery in Supply, NC. Memorial donations may be made in J.C.’s name to Lower Cape Fear Life Care at 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, NC 28462.
