Jimmie Dale Mathis

Winston Salem Mr. Jimmie Dale Mathis, 86, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Mathis was born January 8, 1936 to Naomi Mae Mathis. He was a veteran of the US Army having served as a Paratrooper. Mr. Mathis was an avid hunter and fisherman. He retired from RJ Reynolds after 31 years of service and worked at Alternative Brands for 8 years. In addition to his mother, Mr. Mathis was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Chappell. He is survived by two children, Jimmie Dale Mathis, Jr. and Angela Paige Mathis; and two grandchildren, Austin and Archer Patella. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM, Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
