Jo Ann Hutchens Jester

Hamptonville Mrs. Jo Ann Hutchens Jester, 61, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Jester was born July 31, 1959 in Yadkin County to John and Helen Pauline Shore Hutchens. She was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed reading. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jester was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jester; a brother, Billy Hutchens; and a sister, Linda Hutchens. She is survived by a daughter, Angela Mitchell; a step son, Dale Jester; grandchildren, Austin and Alex Mitchell; sisters, Carol Williams, Peggy Hutchens, Barbara Smith, and Lesa (Junior) Coe; an uncle, Jerry Lee Shore; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00Pm, Monday, April 26, 2021 at Union Grove Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Jon Bowman officiating. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Jester family.
