Joann Wilkins White

Mrs. Joann Wilkins White, 81, passed away on October 25, 2024. She was born in Yadkin County on March 31, 1943 to the late Lloyd Wilkins and Annie Shore Wilkins. Joann was a social butterfly, enjoyed riding the roads visiting family and all of her many friends. Joann enjoyed giving her advice whether you asked for it or not. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy White; son, William Anthony White. She is survived by her grandchildren, Kelsey Noel White (Richard) Garner and Kyndall Faith White; great-grandchildren, Ian Vaughn Garner; daughter-in-law, Kristy White; and sisters, Athelea Jones and Marlene Johnson. 

A graveside service for Joann will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Sandy Springs Baptist Church with Ray Coats officiating. The family would like to thank Joann’s special friends for all their love and care for Joann over the years.
