Joe Wayne Trivette

Joe Wayne Trivette, 70, passed away Thursday August 16, 2018. He was born October 30, 1947 in Iredell County to the late Charlie and Ruth Royal Trivette. Mr. Trivette served in the US Army in the Vietnam War. He retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. He was a member of Grace Bible Church. He loved to fish was an avid Wake Forest fan, former Scout Master of Boonville Troop 653 Boy Scouts. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Deborah Hobson Trivette; three brothers Tommy Trivette, Roger Trivette and Robby Trivette; brother in law Earl Campbell. Surviving are two sons Thomas (Lynn) Trivette, Glenn (Lynne) Trivette; two granddaughters Paris Trivette, Lauren Trivette; sister Sylvia Campbell; brothers Ike “Nicky” (Linda) Trivette, Mickey Trivette; sister-in-law Priscilla Trivette; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday August 18, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Sunday August 19, 2018 at Grace Bible Church by Rev. Junior Thompson and Rev. Joe Souther officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Full Military Honors by the NC National Guard Honor Guard and VFW Post 10346.
