John Henry Beamer

Boonville John Henry Beamer, 89, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018. He was born August 6, 1928 in Surry County to the late Ed Richard Beamer and Martha Annie Hodge Beamer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ethel Beamer; children Deborah Shepard, Johnny Beamer; brothers Frank Beamer, Ernest Beamer, Grady Beamer, Fred Beamer; sisters Betty Atkinson, Jenny Beamer.  He is survived by children Billy (Diane) Comer, Emma Lou Church, Diane Stanley, Richard Beamer, David Beamer, Wayne Beamer; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild sister Sylvia (Jim) Forsyth; brother Billy (Laura) Beamer. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, February 26, 2018, 2:30 pm at Yadkin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service.
