John "Bogie" Fletcher

John “Bogie” Allen Fletcher, age 75, passed away, Monday, April 12, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 24, 1945 to the late John Thomas Clyde Fletcher and Minnie Ruth Hicks Fletcher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother and sister. He is survived by his wife, Frankie Dianne Boles Fletcher; sons, Donald Wayne (Linda) Fletcher and Allen (Susan) Fletcher; and grandsons Wes Fletcher (fiancé MacKenzie Osteen) and Lucas Fletcher. He graduated from East Bend High School in 1964, then married the love of his life, Frankie Boles, July 3, 1965. He retired from Hunter Publishing/Josten’s after more than 40 years of service where he made many lifelong friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend. His funeral service will be Friday, April 16, 2021 at Mount Bethel Baptist Church at 11:00AM with Rev. Ottis Hurst and Rev. Bobby Watts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Fletcher will be available for public viewing at the funeral home from 12:00PM until 5:00PM on Thursday.
