John Logan Sebring, Jr.

June 21, 1942 — February 21, 2021

Boonville John Logan Sebring Jr., 78, of Boonville, North Carolina, passed away at home on Sunday, February 21st, and was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after several months of declining health. John died peacefully with his beloved wife Janet and daughter Rhonda by his side. John was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 21st, 1942, to father John Logan Sebring and mother Ruth Hope Fisher Sebring. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Janet Lee Sebring; children John Logan Sebring III and Rhonda Lee Kelly; his brother Mark A. Sebring of Columbus, Ohio, and sisters Melynnda White of Spring, Texas and Melanie Beth Sebring of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren Sarah Marie Ferullo, Logan Andrew Sebring, and Lauren Elizabeth Sebring; great-grandson’s Lucas, Maverick, Roman, and Theodore Ferullo; and great-granddaughters Kendall and Chloe Sebring; and Sophia Claire Hope Ferullo born two days ago on February 18th. A visitation for John is planned for Wednesday, February 24th, 2021, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service, 5108 US 601 Hwy, Yadkinville, NC 27055. All are invited to attend. The funeral will follow immediately at 2:00pm at Gentry Family Chapel with Pastor Dairold Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens with full military honors provided by Yadkin VFW Post 10346. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
