John Wayne Sluss

Mr. John Wayne Sluss, 58, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at his home. John was born April 5, 1965 in Mercer County, West Virginia to Jimmy Eldon Sluss and Sadie Mitchum Sluss. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and hotrods. John had many friends who will miss him dearly. In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Sluss, and a nephew, Jeremy Sluss. He is survived by his mother, Sadie Sluss; sisters, Sherry Sluss, Jackie Quesenberry, and Margie Smith; brothers, Jimmie D. Sluss, and Tommy Sluss; a fiancée, Joy Kinard; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Sluss family.
